Future Location of the Museum of Food Art

Long Island, NY (8/13/21)- CAMCO Commercial Real Estate LLC, a commercial real estate brokerage, today announced the sale of 1100 Old Country Road in Plainview, NY.
The property also known as Lot 20 was previously occupied by Chase bank. Lot 20 Old Country Road LLC sold the property to U Park Green Building Inc for $1,750,000 on July 1, 2021.
U Park Green Building Institute, which is devoted to research, design, and education to improve communities by building green buildings, purchased this 0.75 acres property for the future development of the Museum of Food Art (MOFA – http://www.mofany.org). The Museum will be accessible to the public ranging from adults, teenagers, children, scholars, and those with special needs. MOFA’s goal is to develop and encourage the study of various types of food art, which will include artisan craft design of food ware and still life fine art with food and drink.
As a non-profit, MOFA will benefit the community by showcasing interactive exhibits whereby participants will have the opportunity to see and create for themselves gourmet food presentations based on the understanding of its origin, presentation through the ages and nutritional benefits for mental and physical health.
